_Insurance renewals always mean new requirements for us. With our 2012 renewal it looks like that new requirement may be Helmets for anyone 15 years or under that ride an ATV pursuant to Florida State Statute. We have shopped many different agency's and this is the new norm. All other parks will probably have to implement this rule within the next year or so as they renew as well. We are working out details right now and we do have a grace period to help implement this new requirement. We hope by Super Bog Weekend we will be renting helmets out at a cost of $10 a day with a $20 refundable deposit. You pay $30 for the helmet and bring it back in good condition for a $20 refund. We hate doing this, but unfortunately we fall under the rules of the law and insurance. You can bring your own helmet as long as it is DOT approved. Sheriff deputy's will be reminding anyone 15 years or under of this new rule. Strict enforcement will begin soon.

The Facts!
1 Day Rental - $30 rental fee. $20 refund if brought back in good condition.

We understand that because of the environment, basic wear and tear will occur. Any helmet damaged beyond repair or destroyed with not receive a refund.
Rental helmets are disinfected and sanitized with interior that is removable and will be washed after each use.

New Youth Helmet Purchase - $50

Used Helmet Purchase - TBA when available after first weekend.

We Will Have basic 6' Orange Pennant Flags & an ATV Attachment for $10 each.
MUST BE ON ALL ATV's & UTV's INCLUDING GO CARTS.

Insurance regulations now require our facility to enforce the use of safety flags on all ATV & UTV vehicles. This also is a good practice for vehicles being visible.
Flag Requirements:
  • Flag must be on a 6' tall minimum whip antenna and attached to the ATV or UTV.
  • Can be any color. We recommend Florescent Orange or Yellow.
  • Can be pennant or square.
  • The flag can have designs on it as well. 
  • Whip lights are allowed.
The picture below is just an example of what the ATV Safety flags look like. There are tons of suppliers online with cool flags and whips. The lighted ones can run as high as $100. You can search online by typing "ATV Safety Flag".

Any ATV or UTV found to not be using these flags will either be required to purchase one at the park or leave the facility until a flag is secured.

Sheriff deputy's will be enforcing this rule.
